Tyneside Rape Crisis Centre is an organisation run by women for women which aims to:
Provide information, support and counselling for women aged 16 and over who have been raped or sexually abused
Raise awareness about rape and sexual abuse and provide training, education and outreach work
Contribute to policy initiatives aimed at improving service provision for women survivors
Support and help develop initiatives aimed at preventing / detecting child sexual abuse and adult rape / sexual assault
TRCC is for women from all communities including but not limited to women who identify as Lesbian, Bi, Trans or Questioning; Black, Minority Ethnic and Refugee women; and women with disabilities.
